Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time General Manager to lead Tiempo Lounge, a local café bar. You'll run a hands-on operation, build and coach a team, and ensure exceptional hospitality for every guest.

With a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), opportunities for progression, a competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, you’ll drive performance, customer satisfaction and community engagement across a growing brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management (restaurants/bars)
• Proven ability to lead teams and develop staff
• Strong business acumen including GP and labour management

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Tiempo Lounge and manage 14 shifts
• Build and develop a strong team with development plans
• Partner with Head Chef on food quality, stock and standards
• Monitor GP, labour, NPS, stock counts and drive improvements
• Lead weekly HOD meetings across all shifts
• Engage with local community and manage social media presence
• Schedule rotas at least two weeks in advance and manage shift reporting
