Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time General Manager to lead Sedero Lounge, a local café bar. You'll run a hands-on operation, recruit and develop a high-performing team, maintain the highest hospitality standards, and ensure every guest leaves happy.

You’ll also drive business growth by managing costs, GP and customer satisfaction across shifts. You’ll benefit from a 48-hour contract (40-hour option available), overtime pay, an achievable bonus scheme paid twice yearly, and generous staff perks from

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in restaurants, bars, cafés, or coffee shops.
• Ability to recruit, train and develop teams with clear progression.
• Hands-on leader who coaches on the floor.
• Strong commercial acumen in GP, labour, stock and KPIs.
• Able to schedule rotas and manage shift reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Sedero Lounge and manage shifts and standards.
• Build, recruit and develop a strong team with growth plans.
• Work with Head Chef on food quality, wait times, stock and training.
• Know GP, labour, stock, NPS and use data to drive improvements.
• Lead weekly HOD meetings for 14 shifts.
• Engage with the local community through social media and events.
• Schedule fair rotas two weeks in advance and manage reporting.
