Job summary

Synergi Search & Select Limited is recruiting an Engineering Team Leader for a fast-paced FMCG site in Boston, Lincolnshire. The role is 80% hands-on engineering and 20% leadership, leading a small two-engineer team and supporting production with fault finding, repairs and preventive maintenance.

The position offers a route into Maintenance Management with strong development opportunities and a stable, growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery (Siemens/Allen-Bradley).
• Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2 shift engineers.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
