Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting an Engineering Team Leader for a well-established manufacturing business in the Boston, Lincolnshire area. You will lead a shift team of Maintenance Engineers, coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure machinery stays reliable for production.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong electrical/mechanical background, experience in FMCG environments, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Senior Engineer, Shift Engineer, or Engineering Team Leader.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in manufacturing, production or FMCG environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Hands-on leader who can coordinate a team while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Maintenance Engineers during the shift.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during breakdowns.
• Prioritise engineering workloads based on production requirements.
• Support fault finding and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure PPM schedules are completed effectively.
• Promote high standards of Health & Safety across the engineering department.
• Work closely with production and other departments to minimise downtime.
• Support the development and performance of engineers within the team.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Boston area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, Senior Engineer or Engineering Team Leader who is looking to take responsibility for a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful Engineering Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the engineering department, coordinating engineering activities and ensuring machinery and equipment remain reliable and available for production.

Responsibilities of the Engineering Team Leader:

• Lead and support a team of Maintenance Engineers during the shift.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during breakdowns.
• Prioritise engineering workloads based on production requirements.
