Myton Food Group is seeking an Engineering Shift Manager to join our Thrapston site. You will drive the engineering team to minimise downtime, improve equipment performance, and engage staff across the maintenance functions.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong fault-finding skills in a FMCG setting, and a proactive approach to asset care and safety. You will coordinate with the maintenance team and uphold discipline and safe working practices.

Formación

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent required.
• Proven fault finding experience in FMCG environment preferred.
• Track record in people management and delivering strong results.

Responsabilidades

• Minimise machinery downtime through proactive and predictive maintenance; ensure equipment reliability.
• Improve performance by optimizing processes and implementing data-driven improvements.
• Engage and develop the engineering team, promoting a positive work environment.
• Lead and support asset care programme to extend asset life and reduce costs.
• Hands-on involvement in repairing and optimizing equipment assets.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with the maintenance team to prevent production disruptions.
• Prepare for and manage crisis incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
• Enforce discipline and grievance procedures to uphold standards.
