Job summary

Runware is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our core engineering teams in a remote-first environment. This hands-on leadership role sits at the intersection of people management, delivery, and technical decision-making, guiding trade-offs and technical direction.

You will build a high-performing team, ensure predictable delivery, maintain engineering quality, and partner with Product, DevOps, and other leaders to scale Runware’s platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in a hands-on environment.
• 3+ years in an engineering management or tech lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineers in a fast-scaling environment.
• Own team execution: planning, prioritization, and delivery of engineering work.
• Act as a technical sounding board on system design, architecture, and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and other teams to align technical direction.
