Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced EHS Lead to own Environmental, Health & Safety across its Coventry manufacturing site. This high-risk operation requires practical leadership, hands-on shopfloor engagement and strong technical EHS knowledge to embed a proactive safety culture.

You will drive compliance, lead risk assessments, and support continuous safety improvements while working closely with operators and senior management on site.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma required or equivalent.
• Environmental knowledge qualification (IEMA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in engineering/manufacturing high-risk environments.
• Proven implementation of EHS management systems.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead EHS across the site and ensure ISO 14001/45001 compliance.
• Embed a proactive safety culture and engage Safety Champions.
• Lead risk assessments, process safety reviews (HAZID/HAZOP) and investigations.
• Translate legislation into practical processes and safe systems of work.
• Manage EHS with contractors, CDM and site development integration.
• Drive continuous EHS improvement through audits and incident reviews.
