Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist for a 12–18 month maternity cover in a busy Coventry engineering and manufacturing environment. The role focuses on delivering EHS strategy, maintaining ISO 14001/45001 systems, and guiding practical controls across the site.

You will lead investigations, risk assessments and contractor oversight, driving Lean-based process improvements while ensuring legislative compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Proven EHS experience in engineering or manufacturing settings.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management and compliance.
• Experience leading investigations, audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EHS strategy and action plans across the site using data and structured problem solving.
• Maintain and improve EHS management systems, procedures and risk assessments.
• Provide day-to-day EHS guidance to management and employees.
• Lead investigations, audits and corrective actions; drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee EHS requirements for contractors and site changes.
