Job summary

Pareto FM is seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to join our site in Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and operation of mechanical and electrical building services, including planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and HVAC, with support from the Contract Manager.

You will work with BMS for diagnostics, maintain records, inspect plant rooms, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Experience in Building Services, Facilities Management or M&E maintenance.
Essential: City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical.
Strong understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
Ability to maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical and electrical plant and building services.
Responding to reactive faults and breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and repairs.
Using the BMS for first-line diagnostics and responding to alarms.
Completing PPM records accurately with photographic evidence where required.
Maintaining site logbooks and records covering electrical, mechanical, water, health & safety and statutory compliance.
Carrying out plant start-up, shutdown, changeover and routine operational checks.
Undertaking regular plant-room and building-services inspections.
Carrying out maintenance, repairs and small installation works.
Reviewing and monitoring specialist subcontractors on site.
Completing test reports, service reports and other compliance documentation.
