Job summary

Pareto FM is seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites in a regional patch. You will work hands-on to keep mechanical and electrical systems safe, reliable, and fully operational, with travel between nearby sites using the company vehicle.

Responsibilities include PPM, fault-finding on HVAC, pumps, generators, lighting, and BMS alarms; maintaining documentation and liaising with supervisors and clients.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 (Electrical or Mechanical) and knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
• Proven experience in Building Services / M&E maintenance is required.
• Desirable: 18th Edition, IOSH, PASMA/IPAF, unvented hot water systems training, BMS/controls familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across client sites.
• Maintain and repair mechanical & electrical systems and components.
• Fault-finding across HVAC, pumps, generators, lighting and small power.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
• Carry out site walk-rounds to ensure safety and performance.
• Maintain logbooks and compliance documentation.
