Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is seeking an Assembler for a full-time manufacturing role based in Cradley, England. You will join a busy production team on the shop floor, operating automatic machinery and supporting setup and adjustments while performing quality checks to ensure safe, high-standard output.

The role requires practical hands-on experience in assembly, production or machine operation, with good attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assembly, production, manufacturing or machine operating.
• Confident using hand tools and power tools.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic production machinery.
• Support the setup and adjustment of machinery.
• Carry out basic checks on machinery and equipment.
• Complete quality checks throughout the production process.
• Use hand tools and power tools where required.
• Move materials and products around the production area.
• Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.
• Work to production targets and maintain high quality standards.
• Report any issues with machinery or production processes.
