Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Completions & Warranties Manager to ensure safe handover of capital projects into Operations and to oversee warranty and defect liability periods.

You will coordinate Gate 5 closeout activities, work with various teams to confirm training and documentation readiness, and report on warranty performance and KPIs. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in electricity transmission, utilities or major infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of handover, acceptance, warranties and closeout processes.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and regulatory requirements (CDM, ESQCR).
• Excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills with clear communication.
• Confident in building relationships with internal teams, contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe, secure and compliant handover of capital projects into Operations, ensuring delivered assets and documentation are complete and ready for acceptance.
• Coordinate Gate 5 closeout activity with Operations, Engineering, Capital Delivery and contractors.
• Manage newly commissioned assets through warranty and defect liability periods, recording and communicating defects and performance concerns.
• Provide clear reporting on project completion, warranty performance, remedial works, OPEX impacts and relevant KPIs for governance.
• Build strong working relationships across Operations, Engineering, Capital Delivery, Procurement, Commercial and other stakeholders.
