Job summary

SSE is seeking a Completions Lead to drive the safe transition of plant and equipment from construction through commissioning into operations. You will oversee the completions process across multiple project packages, coordinating with contractors and operational stakeholders to ensure systems are handed over ready to generate energy.

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent) in engineering or related technical knowledge.
• Experience supporting completions, commissioning, handover, or similar project delivery activities.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, clients and stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Strong organisational, digital, and problem-solving skills with MS Office and project/completions systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Completions Management System across all construction packages to support project delivery.
• Coordinate mechanical completion activities, manage inspection records and completion documentation.
• Work with contractors, package managers and commissioning teams to monitor progress and readiness for handover.
• Partner with Asset Management to plan and deliver handover of plant and equipment with required information.
• Develop and implement the completions strategy, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety, quality and technical standards.
