Job summary

SSE is recruiting a Completions Lead to drive the handover of plant and equipment from construction to operations across multiple project packages. You will oversee the Completions Management System, coordinate completion activities, and ensure documentation and systems are ready for safe handover.

The role requires an engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent) and experience in completions, commissioning or handover within energy projects.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in engineering.
• Experience in completions, commissioning or handover.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, digital, and problem-solving skills; experience with MS Office and systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage priorities while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Completions Management System across construction packages.
• Coordinate mechanical completion activities and manage records and outstanding works.
• Work with contractors and commissioning teams to monitor progress for handover.
• Plan handover with Asset Management and ensure documentation is complete.
• Develop and implement the completions strategy and manage risks and compliance.
