Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Completions & Warranties Manager to oversee the handover of capital projects into SSEN Transmission Operations. You will ensure documentation, training, defects and warranty arrangements are complete and ready for acceptance.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will coordinate Gate 5 closeout, manage warranty periods and provide KPI reporting while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, procurement and contractors to safeguard project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in electricity transmission, utilities or major infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of safety, CDM, ESQCR and operational safety rules.
• Strong planning, analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support handover of capital projects into Operations, ensuring documentation is complete and ready for acceptance.
• Coordinate Gate 5 closeout with Operations, Engineering, Capital Delivery and contractors.
• Manage warranty and defect liability periods, tracking issues and performance.
• Provide reporting on completion, warranty performance, remedial works and KPIs.
• Build relationships across teams and stakeholders to advise on handover readiness.
