Job summary

SSA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join the H&S team across its construction and infrastructure group. The role covers audits, inspections, accident investigations, RAMS and policy development, with opportunities across diverse operational environments.

A NEBOSH General Certificate and strong UK H&S knowledge are essential, plus driving licence and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate essential for the role.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and best practice.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and accident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Health & Safety advice and support across the business and sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and H&S assessments.
• Lead or support accident and incident investigations.
• Review risk assessments, RAMS and H&S documentation.
• Maintain internal H&S audit programme and support external audits.
