Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor for a major groundworks and civils contractor. The role is office-based with travel across Northamptonshire and surrounding counties within a 40 mile radius, supporting sites with hands-on safety expertise.

The successful candidate will conduct audits, advise on high-risk operations, investigate incidents, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with evolving legislation.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH accreditation is required.
• CSCS Card is required.
• Construction or civils background is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety across multiple live construction sites.
• Conduct site audits and provide safety reports.
• Investigate incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with new health and safety legislation.

My client is one of the biggest groundworks and civils companies based in the Midlands and they are now recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor.

BASIC SALARY:

GBP40,000 – GBP45,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Health and Safety Advisor, H&S Advisor – Construction, Groundworks and civils

Based at the office, in Northamptonshire, travelling between construction sites across Northamptonshire and the Home Counties, (40 mile radius of Northampton) as the Health and Safety Advisor you will provide hands on safety support across all sites. You will conduct site audits, provide guidance on high risk operations (deep drainage, heavy plant movement etc), investigate onsite incidents and accidents, liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all health and safety matters across the business.

A construction or civils background would be preferable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
