Job summary

PureGym Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Gym Manager to lead a busy club, driving performance, safety and member experience. Reporting into a Cluster Manager, you will build a high-performing team of Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches, recruit talent, and foster a positive, motivating work environment.

This varied role covers financials, people development and standards across the gym, with Group Exercise oversight and a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience and a passion for fitness and wellbeing.
• Comfort with budgets, financial reporting and inventory control.
• L2 qualification in gym instructing and experience teaching group exercise.

Responsibilities

• Drive the performance of your gym by setting action plans for improvement.
• Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
• Establish an engaged team of Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches; coach and develop them.
• Recruit Personal Trainers and Fitness coaches to bring in new talent.
• Deliver an excellent member experience with a focus on service and standards.
• Group Exercise: manage and improve GEX offering within the gym.
