Job summary

JD Gyms in Manchester is seeking a dedicated cleaner to uphold high cleanliness standards and create a positive environment for members and colleagues. You will maintain the gym’s facilities, assist members with friendly support, and ensure professional appearance and uniform standards.

In this role, you will conduct routine cleaning and safety checks, report defects to keep equipment safe, and contribute to learning initiatives to promote consistent standards across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.
• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while managing responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
