Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a dedicated Club Cleaning Assistant to uphold high cleanliness standards and create a welcoming environment for members and staff.

You will perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, report defects, and support brand standards while delivering friendly member service and working as part of a collaborative team at the Newcastle-under-Lyme location.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.
• Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to ensure the building and equipment are safe to use.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives and training activities.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team while managing responsibilities independently.
