Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards across our UK clubs. You will support a positive environment for members and colleagues, delivering friendly, professional service while upholding company brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning or leisure environment is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
