Job summary

Heeton Hospitality UK in Leeds is seeking a Guest Services Assistant to welcome guests, manage check-in, and serve food and drink while upholding Hilton/Hampton brand standards. You will upsell offerings and help guests have a memorable stay with local knowledge and a friendly approach.

The role involves handling bookings, cash/credit transactions, and supporting Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Kitchen teams. On-site parking and company benefits are also highlighted.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience advantageous.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in for guests and serve food and drinks.
• Upsell opportunities and inform guests about ways to improve their stay.
• Take and manage guest bookings and handle cash/credit transactions per SOPs.
• Be a brand ambassador with a warm appearance and proactive service.
• Work across Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Kitchen; assist with ad-hoc duties as needed.

As a Guest Services Assistant, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle check-in and serve them food and drink, but you will also offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.

Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience

Encourage guests to partake in the Hilton Honors loyalty program

Take and manage guest bookings, and up-selling opportunities and tell them about ways to improve their stay

Handle cash and credit transactions by Heeton standard operating procedures.

Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests by Hampton brand standards,

Serve food and drinks in the bar and restaurant

Help with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed

Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary

Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you’ll report all incidents and wear any protective gear needed

Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador

Work as part of the time to assist with Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Kitchen

Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help

What we need from you

Hospitality experience advantageous
