Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a friendly and efficient Guest Service Ambassador to join our Leeds team. You will deliver exceptional customer service, greet guests warmly, and help maintain cleanliness across food service operations.

Experience in admin, reception, and event bookings is helpful. You will take orders, serve meals, handle cash, restock supplies, and support events. We provide training, a supportive, inclusive culture, flexible hours, and real progression in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
• Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service and creating positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve meals and refreshments to customers, ensuring presentation meets high standards.
• Handle cash and card transactions, maintaining accurate records.
• Clean and sanitise dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
• Restock supplies and assist in inventory management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down for events or functions as required.
