The position of Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) has become available at Aloft Aberdeen TECA. Reporting to the Operations Manager/Guest Service Manager, you will be responsible for guest service, reception, food and beverage, and all aspects of running day-to-day operations. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in a similar role, deliver excellent customer service, possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, be willing to learn, care about their work, and be flexible to work both night and day shifts.

We are looking for talent with previous experience in Front of House/Bar roles. Knowledge of Opera is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided!

What Are We Looking For?

• An experienced Reception / Food and Beverage professional who has worked in a similar-sized property or environment and will thrive supporting the operation of this successful hotel.
• Experience working in an events hotel, ideally with high-volume volumes, and a passion for being busy and working as part of a team.
• Someone eager to learn and adaptable to various work environments.
• Ability to promote and develop loyalty among hotel guests by responding positively to their needs and providing personalized guest service.
• A great leader or someone aspiring to take the next step, capable of resolving team issues and handling guest complaints or requests.
• A person who enjoys a lively, energetic environment and is not afraid of being busy.
• Willing to work various shifts, including weekends and nights, without supervision.

Where Will You Be Working?

Your role as Guest Service Supervisor will be based at Aloft Aberdeen TECA, located at The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA).

You will be part of the team in a 150-bedroom hotel on the site of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, designed by Cooper Cromar, with interiors by Twenty2Degrees. This is the only Aloft Hotel of its kind in Scotland, featuring a WXYZ bar, RE:MIX lounge, and gym.
