Job summary

St Ermin's Hotel, Autograph Collection in London is seeking a detail‑oriented Reservation/Switchboard Operator. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling calls, reservations, and loyalty servicing while maintaining guest profiles and coordinating with the sales team.

You will manage room bookings, group reservations, and communicate with outlets to ensure accurate orders and arrivals. A Marriott Bonvoy familiarity is a plus; English language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Opera is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Marriott MARSHA or EMPOWER is an advantage.
• Experience handling group reservations and rooming lists is an advantage.
• Previous switchboard or central guest-contact experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact for incoming calls and direct to the appropriate department.
• Take and manage in-room dining orders and Food & Beverage group reservations.
• Prepare next day arrivals reports and maintain professional telephone manners.
• Merge duplicate guest profiles and manage Bonvoy member data.
• Process reservations by email, phone, or sales team and manage group bookings.
• Maintain knowledge of room types, locations, and layouts; handle cancellations and no-shows.
