Strand Palace in central London is seeking a Switchboard Receptionist to be the welcoming voice of our hotel, handling calls with warmth and efficiency while supporting guests. Qualifications

• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and a friendly approach.
• Ability to handle guest requests promptly and courteously.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest communications across phone, email, live chat, wake-up calls and emergency lines.
• Manage the Guest Services Platform: open, assign and monitor cases with relevant departments.
• Oversee PMS arrival queue and ensure pre-arrival checks and billing instructions are accurate.
• Support the check-out process, including express departures and billing issue resolution.
• Maintain strong knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
