Job summary

Park Plaza London Riverbank at PPHE Hotel Group is seeking a Guest Relations and Duty Team Leader to ensure the guest relations team delivers beyond the usual guest experience. You will nurture relationships with VIPs and regular guests and help resolve issues to ensure memorable stays.

The role comes with a salary of £14.32 per hour plus great benefits, including expanded holiday entitlement, discounted rates, and a wide range of staff perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest relations or reception in a hotel.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to lead a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively and motivate colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the department with clear communication.
• Create opportunities to go above and beyond for guests and make their stay memorable.
• Lead by example and inspire the Guest Relations team with enthusiasm for service.
• Liaise with Front of House teams to ensure guest satisfaction and financial targets are met.
• Be hands-on, motivating, training and inspiring team members.
• Have full operational knowledge of all procedures, including Opera PMS.

• Demonstrate prior experience as a Guest Relations Host or Receptionist in a hotel.
