Job summary

Millennium Hotels UK is seeking a Casual Receptionist for The Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor. You will check guests in and out, manage reservations, and assist the front desk to ensure a smooth guest experience even when systems are down.

The role requires strong communication, responsiveness to guest needs, and a professional demeanor. Training and development opportunities, meals on duty, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with Opera Cloud/ Opera preferred.
• Strong communication skills for guest interactions.
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Register guests into the hotel and process check-outs.
• Respond to guest enquiries and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Assist the Shift Leader with tasks such as checking market codes and passport numbers.
• Provide courteous, professional front-desk service to guests.
• Learn and apply hotel computer system knowledge to meet guest requirements.
• Know hotel room rates and policies and help maximize revenue.
• Process non-arrival reservations and verify booking details.
• Be familiar with the door key system and liaise with Security when needed.
