Job summary

Hastings Hotels Group in Northern Ireland is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. You will help deliver a memorable dining experience by serving food and beverages with care and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Good Command of English Language.
Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
Must have excellent communication and basic numeracy skills.
Must have a professional appearance.
Previous experience serving food and beverages is desirable.

Responsibilities

To serve food and beverages to guests ensuring the highest standard of service and that all guest needs and expectations are met.
To ensure all cash, charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly
Greeting guests and responding to their queries
To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately
To always maintain the security of stock areas, immediately reporting any breaches.
To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
Any other duties as required by management.
