Seaham Hall in Seaham, County Durham, is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant for the Geko venue. You will join a luxury hospitality team on a zero-hour contract with both full-time and part-time hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar setting, excellent customer service, strong communication, and a willingness to upsell and deliver a five-star guest experience. Knowledge of Simphony is advantageous and transport is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role – restaurant/bar/reception.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to deliver five-star service consistently.
• Knowledge of Simphony software is advantageous.
• Must be able to interact professionally with management, team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive service during meals and accommodate special requests.
• Assist in general cleaning of working areas.
• Upsell desserts, starters, drinks, etc.
• Attend training and learn the menu to guide guests.
