Job summary

Seaham Hall in Seaham, County Durham, is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to join Geko. You’ll deliver warm, attentive service during meals in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have restaurant/bar/reception experience, strong customer service skills, knowledge of Simphony is a plus, and a readiness to upsell and keep areas clean. Part-time and full-time hours on a zero-hour contract with staff perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role (restaurant/bar/reception).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service.
• Knowledge of Simphony software is advantageous.
• Must have transport.
• Ability to interact professionally with management, team, and guests.
• Be a team player and able to work independently.
• Willing to attend training and learn the menu.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive service during meals.
• Assist in the general cleaning of working areas.
• Upsell – desserts, starters, drinks, etc.
• Attend work consistently well groomed and in uniform.
• Offer menu guidance and recommendations to guests.
