Job summary

Langstone Quays Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to support breakfast, lunch and dinner service. You will help create a warm guest experience and ensure high standards of service across outlets.

We offer part-time and full-time roles with flexible weekly hours and opportunities for progression. The role includes handling guest requests, serving drinks, and maintaining hygiene and safety in a busy hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional levels of service to all guests responding to requests and complaints in a timely manner and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Preparing the outlets ready for service and ensuring the operation is left ready for the next shift
• Taking beverage orders from customers, preparing and serving drinks as requested, paying attention to detail
• Assist with the receiving and storage of goods
• Maintain a good food safety, hygiene standards and practices
• Assists with cellar operations
• Assists with the preparation of a food and beverage functions service
• Cleaning of equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining glassware and crockery for service
• Preparation of waiter service stations
• Preparation of tables
• Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures such as cash handling and credit procedures.
• Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures.
