Job summary

Holiday Inn Oxford is seeking a friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will ensure a warm welcome, a smooth check-in and attentive support throughout their stay.

Your calm approach and eye for detail will help guests feel looked after from the moment they arrive. You will confidently handle guest enquiries, manage reservations and incoming calls, and share helpful information about the hotel and local area.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to stay calm in busy environments.
• Proficient with computers and hotel software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a smooth and friendly check-in and check-out experience.
• Support guests throughout their stay by responding to queries and requests with care and efficiency.
• Handle incoming phone calls, emails and reservations accurately and confidently.
• Provide clear information about the hotel, its facilities and the local area.
• Work closely with colleagues across the hotel to support a seamless guest experience.
