Leaf Hospitality is seeking a friendly Guest Service Assistant to join our stylish hotel on the Blackburn border, near Hyndburn. You will warmly welcome guests, assist throughout their stay and help ensure every visit is memorable within a dynamic front desk and lounge environment.

The role is guest-focused, fast-paced, and requires a positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support across reception, lounge, bar and breakfast service.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or Front Office experience is desirable but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional approach.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
• Assist guests throughout their stay, addressing enquiries professionally.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs and reservations.
• Provide information about the hotel and local area.
• Handle guest feedback and elevate concerns where appropriate.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the Front Office and wider hotel operation.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Ensure public areas and guest-facing spaces remain welcoming and presentable.
• Support revenue opportunities through upselling and promoting hotel services.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
