Job summary

Heeton Concept Hotels in Leeds is seeking a friendly Guest Services Assistant to greet guests, check in, serve in bar/restaurant, and help with meals while upholding Hampton brand standards.

You will provide local knowledge, handle bookings, upsell services, and collaborate across Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Kitchen to ensure a friction-free stay and memorable experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Hospitality experience advantageous.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a warm welcome to start a memorable experience.
• Check guests in and assist with bookings and reservations.
• Serve food and drinks in the bar and restaurant.
• Help with washing up and kitchen duties as needed.
• Be a trusted point of contact for guests and escalate issues to management when required.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.
• Maintain a neat appearance and act as a brand ambassador for Hampton/Heeton.
• Assist across Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Kitchen as part of the team.
• Contribute to ad-hoc duties to support colleagues.

When guests enter one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Services Assistant, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle check-in and serve them food and drink, but you will also offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction‑free experience. You’ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.

Your day‑to‑day

• Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
• Encourage guests to partake in the Hilton Honors loyalty program
• Take and manage guest bookings, and up‑selling opportunities and tell them about ways to improve their stay
• Handle cash and credit transactions by Heeton standard operating procedures.
• Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests by Hampton brand standards,
• Serve food and drinks in the bar and restaurant
• Help with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed
• Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary
• Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you’ll report all incidents and wear any protective gear needed
• Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador
• Work as part of the time to assist with Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Kitchen
• Jump into other ad‑hoc duties when your colleagues need your help

What we need from you
