Job summary

Soho House is seeking a proactive Runner for Little House Mayfair in Central London. You will support front-of-house and kitchen teams, delivering food and drinks promptly while keeping areas clean and organised.

You’ll act as the liaison between kitchen/bar and the floor, ensuring members receive a superior experience. The role requires 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment, strong F&B knowledge including wine service, and impeccable communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach.
• Confident, polished, and professional demeanour.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Bring food/drink quickly from the kitchen/bar to its designated location and to members.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Provide service to and be accountable for an assigned section.
• Develop relationships with members to provide personalised service.
• Polish cutlery and ensure readiness for service.
• Prepare any table additions in advance (lemons, condiments, butter, etc).
• Perform opening/closing procedures including setup and break down of stations.
• Handle service equipment with care and store correctly.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house to learn menu changes and tastings.
