Job summary
Bedruthan Hotel & Spa in Mawgan Porth is seeking a Reservation Specialist to join our Central Reservations team. This full-time, on-site role offers 40 hours per week and £24,960 per annum with an additional 10% sales bonus and monthly tips.
You’ll welcome guests, understand their needs and upsell experiences and services to enhance each stay. We value warmth, organisation and excellent English, with weekend availability.
Qualifications
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in hospitality reservations is advantageous.
- Able to upsell hotel products and services.
- Proficient with booking systems and guest management software.
- Willing to work weekends and flexible shifts.
Responsibilities
- Speak with guests by phone and email, responding to enquiries quickly, warmly and efficiently.
- Understand guest needs and recommend the right hotel, experience or service.
- Confidently showcase and upsell hotel products and services.
- Work towards sales targets and help hotels achieve budgeted revenue.
- Accurately complete bookings and administration with clear communication of details.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable and professional service from first enquiry to booking.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
