Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a dedicated Porter on a full-time basis to support Defence operations. The role involves maintaining a high standard of customer care and cleanliness across lobby and public areas, with a 35-hour week.

You will assist in preparing rooms for events, help housekeeping and catering staff, handle simple reception tasks such as bookings, respond to guest requests, run errands, and help ensure safety through clear

• Ensure safety by placing/removing wet floor or hazard signage.
