Job summary

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Porter with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Assistant Front Office Manager, supporting and working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

The Porter will warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, manage deliveries and requests, and help keep the lobby tidy. A calm, confident manner and prior customer service experience are essential, with

• Excellent guest engagement and communication skills.
• Confident and calm demeanor under pressure.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide information, assist with luggage.
• Complete SOP checklists, monitor entrance, uphold safety procedures.
• Manage deliveries, arrange local transport, and handle guest requests.
• Collaborate with team and promote hotel facilities.
• Keep lobby tidy and assist as night porter when needed.
