Job summary

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection seeks a Porter who delivers warm guest service and seamless support for a memorable stay in Edinburgh. You will report to the Assistant Front Office Manager and contribute to a welcoming lobby experience.

The role emphasizes engaging guests, handling deliveries, and collaborating with the team to promote hotel facilities while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Guest Services: Offers a warm welcome, provides accurate information, assists with luggage, and ensures comfort and safety.
• Checklists & Procedures: Completes checklists as per SOPs, maintains presence at the entrance, and complies with Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures.
• Deliveries & Requests: Manages deliveries, local transport bookings, and handles guest feedback and requests.
• Team Collaboration: Works as part of a team, promotes hotel facilities, and supports colleagues.
• General Duties: Keeps lobby tidy, follows manual handling techniques, and may work as night porter when needed.

You will report to the Assistant Front Office Manager, supporting/working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.
