Job summary

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Kitchen Porter with a passion for service excellence. This role reports to the Head Chef and supports delivering memorable experiences of Edinburgh to guests.

Key duties include keeping kitchen areas clean and orderly, providing knowledgeable product and facility information, and ensuring efficient service prep. English proficiency is essential, with a second language a plus for guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation skills.
• Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
• Ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
• A good command of English is essential; a second language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for cleaning and tidying up designated areas of the kitchen efficiently and professionally to high standards, using the appropriate cleaning materials provided.
• Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities.
• Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences.
