Job summary

Rapport Guest Services is seeking a highly professional Receptionist to join our team for a prestigious client in the United Kingdom. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a warm welcome, ensuring security, and maintaining an efficient and courteous reception experience.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a shift rota between 8 AM and 5 PM. Salary is £34,000 per annum, with benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Warm and professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage calls and emails effectively.
• Strong front-of-house presence and guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Stand to greet all guests with a warm welcome and eye contact.
• Escort guests as needed and coordinate transitions between teams.
• Provide updates to visitors waiting for verification every five minutes.
• Proactively handle enquiries in person, by phone or email in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain awareness of building facilities to guide guests appropriately.
• Take ownership of the reception area and report issues promptly.
