The Social Hub in Glasgow is seeking a welcoming Waiter/Waitress to create a warm, energetic dining experience across tables, bar, and events. You will move between service areas, delivering menu recommendations with confidence and maintaining smooth operation in a lively, collaborative team.

The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract requiring 1–2 years in hospitality or enthusiastic learners, with strong English communication and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in restaurant or hospitality, or strong enthusiasm to learn.
• Fluent English or good English communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with energy and make them feel at ease.
• Take orders, serve dishes and share menu recommendations.
• Keep the floor running smoothly by anticipating needs.
• Communicate clearly with bar and kitchen to ensure accuracy.
• Handle questions and small hiccups with friendly problem solving.
• Keep your station clean, organized and ready for action.
• Support colleagues during busy moments and help maintain team rhythm.
