Job summary

The Social Hub in Glasgow is seeking a friendly Breakfast waiter for a 6-month fixed-term position. You’ll bring warmth to our vibrant dining experience, deliver attentive service, and help guests feel welcome as part of a lively, team‑oriented hub.

With 1–2 years in hospitality and strong English communication, you’ll coordinate with kitchen and bar, note dietary needs, clear tables, and support busy service times.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant service.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service to guests.
• Note dietary needs and preferences and coordinate with kitchen and bar.
• Clear tables and support service areas during busy times.
• Stay informed about operations, menus, and events to assist guests.
• Recommend food and drinks based on guest preferences and knowledge.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high standards.
• Support event setups when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
