The Social Hub in Glasgow is seeking a friendly Breakfast waiter to join our vibrant dining team. You will deliver warm, attentive service, connect with guests, and help ensure smooth breakfast and lunch service.

With 1–2 years in hospitality, strong English, and a proactive, team-focused attitude, you will thrive in our fast-paced, welcoming environment. This 6-month fixed-term role offers training, growth opportunities, and employee discounts across Europe.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hospitality or restaurant service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create positive guest connections.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and friendly attitude, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.
• Bright and breezy demeanor first thing in the morning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional service to guests for breakfast and lunch.
• Be the go-to person connecting guests with kitchen and bar, noting dietary needs.
• Clear and reset tables; support service areas during busy times.
• Stay informed about hub operations, menus, events, and spaces.
• Recommend food and drinks based on guest preferences and knowledge.
• Handle inquiries and concerns quickly, upholding high service standards.
• Assist with event setups to match requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment following safety guidelines.
