Job summary

Eden Locke in Edinburgh is seeking a Front of House Assistant to join our welcoming team on a part-time basis. You will help guests from arrival to departure, support check-ins/outs, handle bookings and payments, and assist in our food & beverage spaces to create memorable experiences.

We value friendly, proactive individuals with good communication, attention to detail and a team-focused approach who are happy to work flexibly across shifts and weekends. Experience in hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Friendly, confident and professional communication.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Positive, can-do attitude and initiative.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.
• Confidence using IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and supporting check-ins and check-outs
• Handling bookings, payments and guest requests
• Welcoming guests and helping in F&B areas
• Delivering food and drinks and keeping the space clean and inviting
• Handling guest issues with a positive and solution-focused approach
• Supporting events and activations
• Working flexibly across the hotel and supporting your colleagues
