Job summary

BaxterStorey in Tilbury is seeking a Front of House Assistant to join our busy hospitality team. Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is a plus.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner while ensuring all requests are promptly addressed
• Provide outstanding customer service by remaining attentive to guests’ needs throughout their visit and responding to questions and concerns with empathy and positivity
• Collaborate with kitchen and back-of-house teams to support seamless operations and a safe, inclusive working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas and service stations in line with health and safety regulations
• Demonstrate adaptability and a solution-oriented approach to challenges
• Communicate clearly with team members and management to ensure consistent service delivery
• Handle multiple tasks while staying organized during peak service periods
