Job summary

Ashridge House in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Receptionist to join our front of house team. You will greet guests, check in guests, manage inquiries, and ensure the public spaces and entrances remain welcoming and pristine throughout shifts that include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests across the site and check in on their stay personally
• Proactively understand guests' needs and advise appropriately
• Ensure entrance and main halls are spotless and ready to receive guests
• Check in/out guests
• Assist guests with luggage if needed
• Direct guests across the site using clear language
• Answer phone calls and emails professionally and promptly
• Accept deliveries and post and distribute as needed
• Communicate across departments to deliver high service levels
• Take ownership of guest concerns and deliver positive resolutions
