Job summary

The CURA Kensington, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver exceptional guest experiences across our restaurant, bar, and breakfast service. You will also support the Front Office during busy periods, ensuring a warm and professional guest journey from arrival to departure.

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to maintain high service standards and deliver personalised hospitality consistent with the Marriott brand.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
• A natural people-person with energy, warmth, and a genuine passion for guest service.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across breakfast, restaurant, and bar shifts.
• Eager to learn and grow within a global hotel brand.
• Reliable, professional, and a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service across breakfast, restaurant, bar, and Reception.
• Welcome guests warmly in both the restaurant and at Reception, assisting with seating and enquiries.
• Take food and beverage orders and support guest requests and Front Office tasks as needed.
• Ensure buffet and à la carte service is well-presented and high quality.
• Assist with bar service, including preparing beverages and cocktails where trained.
• Support Reception during busy periods and handle guest enquiries.
• Handle guest feedback positively and escalate issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation across restaurant, bar, lobby, and Reception.
• Set up and close down restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event spaces for service.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Reception, and Housekeeping on promotions and events.
• Communicate guest preferences and requests between departments to enhance experience.
• Promote dining experiences and Marriott Bonvoy benefits where appropriate.
• Uphold food hygiene, health & safety, licensing, and brand standards.
