Job summary

ES Trafford Centre is seeking a Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests, greeting them and guiding them to dining areas. You will provide accurate wait times, manage reservations, and coordinate seating with the wait staff, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth flow of guests.

This fast-paced role requires a super positive person with excellent people skills to create a pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure at the Manchester venue.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Manage reservations
• Escort customers to assigned dining or areas
• Provide menus
• Greet customers upon their departure
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
• Assist wait staff as needed
